Both main elevators in the complex’s tower are down, and have been since late June. 6101 Eton Blvd is a seniors residence, and those on floors 6 and up have to go up and down stairs and then down a long corridor to the adjoining building to exit the building. Recently Evacuation Chairs have been provided, but the ability for residents to have a normal life have been severely affected by the outages. There is no firm date for repairs to be implemented, over a month later.
